About Dean
Dean returns with the Gary Bos Golf Academy for his 2nd season in 2012..
As an Academy Instructor, you will find Dean available for all types of instruction including private & semi-private lessons and coaching for both adults & juniors. You will also find Dean leading or assisting with both our Junior Golf Camps & CN Future Links Clinic program, as well as our Ladies Drive Chip & Putt Golf Schools.
Dean is originally from Sarnia, Ontario where his passion for golf thrived at a young age with most family members taking part in the great game. Dean left home at the age of 18 to pursue his golf career. At 21, he received his designation as a Class A Professional from the PGA of Canada. Since then he has achieved such accomplishments as working at Squamish Valley G&CC, Hockley Valley Resort, The Briars Golf Club, Sunningdale G&CC and Furry Creek Golf Courses. Dean has also been a member of the Canadian Long Drive Team - finishing 5th in the world. His background in golf has allowed him to travel all over the North America and Tropics. Dean has been teaching for close to 15 years and has also assisted in teaching the University of Western Women’s Golf Team.
